Visitor data and cookies (Cookie Act)

To ensure this web platform works properly, we sometimes place small files on your computer called cookies.
A cookie is a small text file that a web platform stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit it.
This allows the platform to remember the pages you have visited and your preferences (such as username, language, font size, and other settings) so you don’t have to re-enter them each time you visit.
Most major web platforms do this.
By continuing to use this web platform, you agree that cookies may be stored on your device and that data may be collected.
Jellow uses the information from these cookies solely to analyze and improve the platform and its services.
Jellow will not share this information with third parties.
This platform uses functional and analytical cookies.

The following cookies are used by Jellow.

  • Google Analytics (_dc_gtm_UA-30926823-1, gatUA-30926823-1, _ga, and _gid).
See below for more information about our use of Google Analytics.
  • Hotjar is used by us to analyze how users interact with the platform — where they click, which paths they follow, etc.
  • Intercom (intercom-id-uoj5nbx9, intercom-lou-uoj5nbx9, and intercom-session-uoj5nbx9).
We use Intercom for the chat functionality between the User and Jellow.
  • Jellow (check country and auth). These are Jellow’s own cookies. Check country stores the country from which the user is visiting today. Auth is only used for Clients to determine whether two-way verification should be requested at login.

We use cookies to measure how many visitors come to our web platform via Google Analytics. Google Analytics tracks which pages you visit, how you arrived there, and basic information about your computer.
The information we collect helps us understand which parts of our platform perform well, how visitors reach it, and so on. Like most web platforms, we use this data to improve our website for you.

You can always control and/or delete cookies. Learn more at aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies stored on your computer and configure your browser to block cookies. However, this means you will need to re-enter your preferences each time you visit, and some parts of the platform may not function properly.

Jellow includes several social media “share/like” buttons (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google). These buttons also place cookies related to their respective domains.

Links to Other Websites

If you follow an external link that takes you away from our platform and onto another site, please be aware that Jellow no longer has any control or influence over the content of that other website. Therefore, Jellow accepts no liability for such content unless Jellow was previously aware that it was unlawful. In such cases, Jellow will investigate and, if necessary, block the link. The terms of use and privacy policy of those linked sites may differ from the ones applicable to Jellow’s platform. We encourage you to read them to understand how they collect, use, and share information related to you.

Data Security

Jellow respects the privacy of every registered user and ensures that personal data is handled confidentially and with the utmost care. All personal data is securely stored in Jellow’s administration system. This database is accessible only to Jellow employees insofar as necessary for their duties. Jellow makes reasonable efforts to secure its systems against loss and/or any form of unlawful use by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures, taking into account the state of technology. However, Jellow is not liable for data loss, file damage, unauthorized access to computers or files, viruses distributed via advertisements, or any other unlawful programs or files, nor for any other consequence of providing data to Jellow.
