All-in remuneration

Continue to work independently and flexibly with the security of a fixed monthly salary.

Due to new legislation and stricter enforcement, many organizations are no longer allowed or willing to simply outsource their assignments via self-employed constructions. This means that, as a freelancer, you will increasingly be told that you can only respond to a job if you become an employee—something you wanted to avoid in the first place.

But sometimes the assignment is so appealing that you don’t want to pass it up. In that case, going all-in can be a solution.

With all-in remuneration, you retain as many of the advantages of freelancing as possible and fully meet the client’s requirements. Of all the existing contract types, this is the one that offers you the most freedom, autonomy, and flexibility.
Instead of sending invoices, you receive a fixed monthly salary that includes everything—from your compensation to vacation pay and any allowances. This makes it possible for clients to hire you, allows you to retain as much flexibility as possible, and meets the client’s desire to work together in a way other than a self-employed construction.Unfortunately, a number of clients choose to avoid all the risks of bogus self-employment and therefore prefer contract forms that feel safer to them. This means that traditional self-employed constructions are under pressure and that you, as a freelancer, may be able to get fewer assignments. We have received signals from our network of freelancers that a number of them are willing, either temporarily or permanently, to work with their clients in a different way. That is why we want to offer you the freedom to choose this option.

This is how all-in remuneration works at Jellow Contracting

  • 1. You choose an assignment – As always, you decide which jobs you find interesting.

  • 2. We arrange the contract – Jellow Contracting enters into a contract with you and the client, so that everything is legally watertight.

  • 3. You receive a fixed monthly salary – Instead of being paid per invoice, you receive a clear all-inclusive salary that includes all your earnings.

  • 4. You retain your freedom – After completing an assignment, you decide whether and where you want to work again.

  • 5. Hourly rate as a basis – With all-in remuneration, your hourly rate is taken as the starting point. We then calculate how you can maximise your net income.

What does it mean to work through this structure?

Would you like to continue doing what you do best, without having to worry about legislation or clients who question your self-employed status? With all-in remuneration through Jellow Contracting, you can work independently, but without the risks and uncertainties of being self-employed.

Why is Jellow doing this?

Once again, at Jellow, we believe that within the framework of the DBA Act, it is often possible for clients and freelancers to work together using a model agreement. We will therefore continue to promote this widely. Ultimately, the choice lies with the clients. With all-in remuneration, we want to offer freelancers on our platform the choice of accepting assignments through a different type of contract. In both cases, we are happy to help you and ensure that everything is properly arranged for you, both contractually and financially.
